L’ESPORT INTEGRADOR
During 2022, LaLliga continued to promote sport, including both adapted and unified sport, to achieve two of its main objectives: on one hand, improving quality of life and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits; and on the other hand, raising awareness about people with disabilities in society to foster their full inclusion.
The organization collaborated in various events promoting and spreading awareness of Adapted and Unified Sport, also carried out with the support and collaboration of the Federació Mestral (Mestral Federation).
SUPPORT FOR SPORTS PRACTICE
Sports practice was encouraged through activities promoting participation by people with disabilities, guided according to the individual’s preferences and interests, their abilities, the availability of the specific sport, and, where appropriate, guidance and orientation toward competition.
The need for schools and specific centers for adapted sports became evident.
